Well, Regular Show ended recently.
Two of my favorite episodes were ‘Grave Sights’ and ‘Weekend at Benson’s.’
‘Grilled Cheese Deluxe’ was hilarious as all get out, too.
This guy, J.G. Quintel, is a damn good writer, director, and creator.
I’m TOTALLY looking forward to the next project he has in the works.
I’m counting Regular Show: The Movie as just a “feature length” episode, though.
You can watch the whole movie here.
You need more incentive?? Jason Mantzoukas plays the villain.
While you’re at it, check out this cover for the Regular Show comic book.
I fucking love it.
The artist behind this cover AND the cover which is this very post’s Featured Image is a dude named Cole Closser.
He kicks ass, and I’m not just blowing smoke up your ass either.
I mean, just look at him!
I’ll just get on with my rant.
-IF YOU LIKE BATMAN V SUPERMAN-
-YOUR OPINION IS WRONG AND NOT WELCOME HERE-
-YOU’VE BEEN WARNED-
Y’know something that made me HATE Batman V Superman even more?
Jimmy Olsen is shot in the head 30 seconds into the movie.
I use the word ‘apparently’ because I didn’t watch the movie at all.
Hell, I didn’t have to.
Most of the clips I was really interested in looking at ended up being dumped on YouTube for free anyway.
Now before you think, “Hey man, you can’t hate a movie you didn’t even watch.”
Fair enough. Good point. Quick thinking there, Speedy.
But motherfucker, I went and paid to watch Suicide Squad in an honest-to-God theater!
I’m pretty sure I got the lion’s share of the disappointment anyway.
And it SUCKS I have to say that!
Suicide Squad was the only DC live action movie I ACTUALLY looked forward to seeing that year!
No, really! I’m serious!
But at the end of the day, WASTED POTENTIAL IS WORSE THAN NO POTENTIAL, man.
I also found an article talking about Jimmy’s death, and a quote from Zack Snyder where he relays why the scene was even written into the film:
“We just did it as this little aside because we had been tracking where we thought the movies were gonna go, and we don’t have room for Jimmy Olsen in our big pantheon of characters, but we can have fun with him, right?”
Of course you can.
Dude, have fun with the characters.
Its your vision of the DC cinematic universe.
Do whatever ya want with it.
Time is fleeting, so you might as well have your moment.
Soak it in as long as you want/can.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna catch up on my reading.
Later desu yo koitsu wa.
